FAQ
Questions, answered
How much does rubbish removal cost?
It depends on how much there is and what it is. Check the size guide above for a rough idea, then send us photos and we'll reply with a fixed quote. Prices include GST, labour, loading, tip fees and the NSW waste levy.
Why do you need photos?
Photos let us give you a fixed price instead of a vague estimate. We can see the volume, what it's made of and how it needs to be carried, so the price we quote is the price you pay.
How soon can you come?
Once you approve your quote we book the next available slot, usually the following day. On the day we come, we load it all and it's gone that day.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as the quote is approved and access is arranged (for example, the items are on the driveway or the side gate is unlocked), we can do the job while you're out.
How do I pay?
By card or bank transfer when the job is done. There's no deposit.
What if there's more than the photos showed?
If what's on site is different from the photos, we'll re-quote on the spot before we load anything, and you can say no.
What won't you take?
We don't take asbestos (or anything that might contain it), chemicals, paint, solvents, oils or fuels, gas bottles, liquids, medical or clinical waste, batteries in bulk, or anything else hazardous. For asbestos, use a licensed asbestos removalist; for household chemicals, check your council's chemical drop-off.
Do you take heavy stuff like soil, concrete or tiles?
Sometimes. Heavy materials are quoted separately because our truck has a 2-tonne payload, so large amounts of soil, concrete, bricks, tiles or rubble may need to be declined. Send photos and a rough amount and we'll let you know.
Are you insured?
Yes. Gone Today Rubbish Removal is fully insured with public liability cover.
